Our nonprofit child care center hadn’t received a $30,000 state grant we were owed. We got nowhere with government officials over many months, so I reached out to Civic Helpers. A few days later, they hit on the state IT snafu that had stopped processing of the grant payment. Our families and community benefitted, and hopefully so too did the state agency that learned that this mistake could impact nonprofits all around New York.
